BACKGROUND

Dave joined the practice in 2003 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State Univ. & completing an internship with First Eagle Investment Management, LLC. David obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2005, and is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) as well as co-founded the FPA NexGen Group. He also holds the Life and Health Insurance License. Dave formerly held the Series 7, 24 and still holds the Series 66 Securities License.

FAMILY

He is proud father of his boys, Cameron and Soren, husband to wife, Heather and enjoys his time home in his reading chair with the family Siamese cats, Yuki & Luna

WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT?

Preserving the world for future generations to share by promoting conservation and restoration organizations such as Oceana, Nature Conservancy, Earthjustice and the Western Reserve Land Conservancy and other similar like-minded organizations. Dave feels he has a visceral connection with nature and intends to share that appreciation with his sons as they grow older and explorer the world together. To say Dave is an avid Cleveland sports fan (and pretty much Cleveland anything fan), would be an understatement. He even made it on inside the NFL on Showtime two weeks after his first son was born to let the Browns know how passionate he really is (see Picasa stream for screen shot of the TV). “I recognize how fortunate I am to be in a position to impact hundreds of families in a positive and meaningful light. That is an opportunity I am most thankful for.”

WHERE CAN WE FIND YOU WHEN NOT IN THE OFFICE?

Dave truly enjoys being outdoors, whether it's for individual sports (CVLC lacrosse club, golfing, scuba diving and underwater photography, fishing, hiking or boating) or by simply walking along the Chagrin River in downtown Chagrin Falls with his family.
